A Fun Day at the Park
Me and mommy survived our first week without daddy, although we miss him a lot and wish he was here with us! On Saturday me and mommy took the car to get its oil changed and then we just hung out all day at home. Uncle John came over to help out and cut the grass for mommy. Then Uncle John played with me for awhile before he left.

Missing my Daddy!
On Sunday night me and mommy took daddy to the airport. They let us go to the gate with him, so we all had one last dinner together before he left.
Before he left, daddy videotaped himself reading a few of my favorite books. Mommy has showed me three of them so far and I love watching them. Tonight I sat and watched daddy and giggled the whole time.
Other than helping daddy get ready for his trip and keeping mommy company now that daddy is gone, I have enjoyed playing with my new house that mommy and daddy bought before daddy left. It's a two sided house and I love crawling through the door and flipping the light switch on and off.
I'm getting stronger on my feet and have been taking a few steps while holding on to and moving along the couch. Mommy thinks it won't be too much longer until I try to take some steps on my own without holding on to the couch.
Time for me to go to bed. Hopefully I'll write more this weekend.

Eating Lots of New Foods!
In the past coulple of weeks, I've gone bowling twice and I went to Chucky Cheese's. Mommy, daddy, and their friends, Woody and Julie, went with me to these places. We had lots of fun! I am now starting to do the army crawling and I get up on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. Mommy thinks I will be crawling on all fours any day now. I still haven't gotten my top teeth in, but I sure hope they come in soon because sometimes it really hurts when they're trying to push through. I like to talk a lot now and say lots of things like da-da, ma-ma, ba-ba, and ya-ya. Right now mommy and daddy are trying to teach me to wave bye-bye. Sometimes I do it but I'm not real sure what it means yet. Next week we are moving, so it may be a little while before mommy is able to set up the computer for me to write some more.
