Daddy left on Sunday to go out of the country for about 3 months for work. Even though it's only been 3 days, I already miss him very much. The last couple of days that he was here we spent a lot of time together. On Friday, he picked me up early and we went into the city and had lunch with one of daddy's friends and then we went to visit mommy at work.
On Sunday night me and mommy took daddy to the airport. They let us go to the gate with him, so we all had one last dinner together before he left.
Before he left, daddy videotaped himself reading a few of my favorite books. Mommy has showed me three of them so far and I love watching them. Tonight I sat and watched daddy and giggled the whole time.
Other than helping daddy get ready for his trip and keeping mommy company now that daddy is gone, I have enjoyed playing with my new house that mommy and daddy bought before daddy left. It's a two sided house and I love crawling through the door and flipping the light switch on and off.
I'm getting stronger on my feet and have been taking a few steps while holding on to and moving along the couch. Mommy thinks it won't be too much longer until I try to take some steps on my own without holding on to the couch.
Time for me to go to bed. Hopefully I'll write more this weekend.
